I love looking out at these hills. A peaceful pause along the Hermosa Trail. My grandfather spent a lot of time in the 40s riding his horse out here… I'm sure he enjoyed this same view.

A sunset walk along the cliffs at Back Bay, I stopped to look out over the ledge and caught this view. The cliff cast a long shadow across the foreground leaving a small strip of warm light in the distance.

Walking along the Back Bay in Newport Beach, I came across this graceful egret, studying the life beneath the surface.  A lesson on patience observed.
