I painted this scene awhile back. This one I painted from memory a bit smaller.  Walking along Newport Back Bay and coming across this sweet egret.

I revisited this scene from a previous work.  
This tree stands tall in this open field, somewhat different and set apart from the others… 
there's something quite beautiful about it's stature.

This was a fun study of the San Clemente pier.  I don't usually paint foggy days, but there's a mysterious feel to them as objects disappear into it… and I love the muted tones the fog brings.
